Can't get enough blues before the next MBS jam? Check out the Common Ancestors hosted jam held each Tuesday night @ Kudzu's, on Monroe, starting around 7:30 pm. Jack Rowell and TriplThret host a jam (The Thrill) at Neil's on Quince, every Thursday night from 7-11. Check our new Calendar!!! for more Blues in Memphis.
We'd like to see opporunities in Memphis for jams of all shapes and sizes because, with the exception of string quartets and chamber music, there is no other musical genre in America that has such a high percentage of PARTICIPANTS, no City in America that has a higher percentage of committed musicians and, while the facts behind the first two statements may be debatable, certainly no city in America that has had more to do with the Blues. Let's keep it rolling.
